Of course, Igauzú is more than just water. The verdant, lush greenery billowing up in every corner is amazing. Hot pink flowers peek out from under the mesh bridges that carry you over and between the falls, strange fungi glows orange or snakes like florscent green lace across moist logs. Colorful birds in bright yellow or toucans with their colorful orange beaks fly around and nibble on fruit, while strange creatures called Coatis, like a cross between a monkey and a wolverine, will bumble over to you looking for food. And speaking of monkeys...they are there too, swinging around the tress. Throughout the park, greyish-brown guinea-pigs freely graze on the grass, and in the big rivers, their gigantic relatives, capibaras, splash in the water to keep cool.
Welcome to the tropics.
